Pursuing justice for survivors of sexual and gender based violence
The establishment of stronger mechanisms towards achieving speedy reparations for survivors of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) in Kenya and beyond is something that ACORD has been strongly advocating. In this regard, ACORD Kenya recently released a policy brief on reparations for survivors of SGBV in the presence of the Kenyan speaker of the Parliament and other key players. Read more and download policy brief.

Changing lives in 20 child-headed homes in Rwanda
ACORD has a long experience in supporting child-headed households in rural Rwanda. Getting a school uniform and material reduce drop-outs and having health insurance is a life-saver. Securing food or income from farming, bicycle taxi, hair dressing or sewing is life-changing. Legal support to register their land and having a proper house can transform their lives. Donate to these children in need as you also help ACORD meet the Gateway challenge and become a member of Globalgiving.
