Africa's Pathway To Gender Equality

This report gives some information on the advancement of the signing, ratification, domestication and implementation of the AU Protocol on African Women Rights.
The AU Protocol represents an international instrument for the prioritization and mainstreaming of women's rights and gender issues not only at a national level but also at the pan African, governmental and inter-governmental levels.
This report also discusses the legal, environmental and community challenges that the Protocol faces, and the status and actions of SADC on the AU Protocol.
