Fourth Ordinary International Conference on the Great Lakes’ Region Summit held on 15th December 2011 in Kampala, Uganda. ACORD with 11 other civil society and women’s rights organisations, issued a strong statement urging the Heads of States of the ICGLR to be on the front-line of the fight against sexual and gender based violence in Africa.
