AIDS 2010 conference logoA team from ACORD attended the 18th International AIDS Conference taking place in Vienna, 18-24 July 2010, along with almost twenty thousand other people.

ACORD shared lessons from its work on the links between food sovereignty and HIV and on HIV policies for the workplace. The ACORD team also be took the opportunity to tell pharmaceutical companies attending the conference to sign up to the UNITAID patent pool and make ARV medicines to treat HIV more affordable for people in Africa.
